Today I found out that my 83 year old grandfather of 12 has cancer. I decided to start this blog in hopes that. . . well, I'm not really sure what my hopes are. I guess this blog is just a starting point, a blank slate so to speak, for our family and friends to begin writing. This will be a collaborative blog where anyone who is granted permission can post. It will be a space for those who are near him to give updates on his condition, for those who are far away to share funny stories for him to hear, for those who are concerned to share their prayers, and for those who don't know what to say a place to post your favorite pictures. So here it goes. Here is a starting point for a blog completely devoted to Robert Francis Nowak the strong, courageous, witty patriarch of our family.
